The Floorplan from the Source to the Experiment

Pol.Src - Source for polarized protons and deuterons
Trans - RF-Transitions populate the proper hyperfine states
6-Poles - 6-Pole magnets focus the states with the electron spin parallel to the magnetic field
Diss - RF-dissociator disintegrates the hydrogen molecules
Cycl - The Bonn Isochronous Ischronnous Cyclotron
A0-A4 - Bending magnets
Sol - Solenoid rotates the proton spin into the plane of the beam-line
P - Direction of the polarization
SV, SH - Vertical or horizontal steerer magnets stabilize the position and angle of the proton beam
SEM - Secondary-Electron-Monitors detect deviations from the set-axis of the beam
BPS - Beam-Profile-Scanners measure x-y polarization distributions of the beam cross section
x-y Pol - x-y Polarimeter helps to tune the source and the solenoid
IGEL - Hydrogen gas target at 12 bar with integrated up/down and left/right ionization chambers
Cup - Faraday cup; measures the proton beam current
T.T. - Target table is the common support of the SEMs, BPSs, x-y polarimeter, target and cup
Motors - Motors to align the T.T. with the help of the SEMs
